This logbook was kept on board the ship Levant by William C. Lee. Charles L. Carey was master of the ship. Entries were made on a voyage from Boston to the mouth of the Columbia River in Oregon, thence to the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii), Canton (China), and New York.
